Delivery Driver

Overview:

We are looking for a personable individual with a fantastic driving record who will be in charge of our pick-up/delivery services.

Job Duties: 

• Pick up lawn equipment from customers’ homes to bring in for repair/service. Deliver equipment back once repaired.
• Utilize a GPS that is provided to find locations.
• Communicate customer comments/information back to the service writer at the store.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Assemble equipment for the showroom floor.

Required Qualifications: 

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have experience pulling a trailer.
• Must have a great driving record.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Will be expected to provide two job references.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Work experience as a driver.
• Experience using a winch on a trailer.
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Forklift certification and/or experience

Working Conditions: 

• Will spend the majority of your time driving the store truck + trailer.
• Will spend some time working outside or in the warehouse where it can get cold or hot at different times of the year.
